Finance and Retirement Expert to Speak at MVES

Mystic Valley Elder Services (MVES) will be hosting its annual Independence Legacy Society Luncheon on September 29. Free and open to the public, this event is a chance to learn about planned giving and hear from a guest speaker who is an expert on personal finance and retirement planning. 

The featured speaker is Anqi (Angie) Chen, who leads household finance and savings research at Boston College's Center for Retirement Research. She also leads the Center’s National Retirement Risk Index, a key tool for assessing retirement preparedness across the U.S. Her research focus includes emergency savings, health and long-term care risks, household well-being and debt burdens. Angie Chen’s radio and TV appearances include CNBC and Yahoo Finance and her research has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, The Economist and more.
