Mayor Gail Infurna’s Farewell Address

You are cordially invited to Mayor Gail Infurna’s Farewell Address after 22 years of Public Service Coffee, soft drinks, and desserts will be served. All are welcome.

Mayor Infurna was elected Ward 5 Alderman in 1997 and served in that capacity until 2018. The Board of Aldermen (now the City Council) elected her to serve as President in January 2018, and she became Mayor on February 5, 2018, when Mayor Rob Dolan vacated the seat. Mayor Infurna is the first woman to serve as Mayor of Melrose. She will leave office in November,after 22 years of public service, when the newly elected mayor is sworn in.
