Please join us for “Domestic Violence IS a Workplace Issue” on Wed Jan 29 for 8:45 - 10:00 am at Rising Eagle Publick House.


This important panel discussion will feature representatives from the Human Resources and Legal fields, as well as MAAV’s Executive Director and a DV survivor. The panel will dive into practical steps employers can take to protect their business and their employees as well as take a look at your legal responsibilities as an employer.


The Chamber is partnering with Melrose Alliance Against Violence and Employers Against Domestic Violence to bring this important issue to the forefront. EADV helps companies reduce liability and support their employees through training, creating policies, and much more. Domestic Violence IS Everyone's Business!


Coffee and a light breakfast will be served. The session is approved for 1 hour of professional development credit towards SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP recertification for Human Resource professionals.
